How Many Days a Week Should You Train? It Depends on You

By Coach NardJul 18, 20264 min read

There's no universal answer — the right training frequency depends on your goals, your schedule, and how fast you recover. Here's how to decide.

The question I get more than any other: how many days a week should I train? The honest answer is that it depends — on your goals, your schedule, and how you recover. Anyone giving you a single number without knowing you is guessing.

Two days a week is enough to get stronger and feel better, especially for beginners. Three days a week is where most people see the best balance of progress and recovery. Four days a week is for people with a specific goal and a schedule that can handle it.

The mistake is training hard five or six days a week because you think more is better. It isn't. Recovery is where you actually get stronger. Train enough to progress, rest enough to recover, and show up consistently over months — that's what works.

At your starter session, I'll tell you exactly how many days you need based on what you're trying to fix and what your schedule allows. Not the most expensive option — the right one.
